Year 8 Boys Cricket Report

Staughton College vs Sunbury High

On Friday, the 3rd of November, the Staughton College Year 8 boys cricket team took on the highly rated Sunbury High school.

Sunbury won the toss and elected to bowl. The Staughton batsmen struggled against a class Sunbury bowling attack. The boys were able to score a total of 44 runs with Josh M. and Braedon M.  the best with the bat for Staughton. 

Sunbury were under pressure chasing down the Staughton score, with Connor B. and Nathan B. the best with the ball for Staughton.

This undermanned Staughton team battled on until the end and have shown huge potential this year. The team will only benefit from this and can improve next year. Well done to all the boys and our student teacher Mr. Singh for the way they played the games this year.
