Father's Day Gift Stall, August 2017
Kirsten Brooks, PFA President
Last month we welcomed our biggest ever number of volunteers to events.
I am so proud to be part of such a caring and enthusiastic community, and I thank each and every volunteer for their time and energy. You keep our community strong!
Woohoo, we did it! Congratulations to the Parent Team for riding the most kilometres in the 24 hour period!

The Parent Team included:
Also, a big thank you to the Fundraising Team who provided baked goods and a BBQ for lunch.

We are very pleased to make a donation to Zaidees and to collect the trophy!
We celebrated Father's Day with a Gift Stall and a special Breakfast.
Father's Day Gift Stall
The stall was very popular with students, and with the fun array of gifts that were available, it's easy to see why this might have been the case!

I really enjoyed seeing our Junior School students choose a gift at the stall – it was lovely to see their beautiful manners, their careful process of choosing a special gift for their dad, and their consideration in helping others make a choice! Exceptional!
We also had helpers galore at the stall. Thank you to all of you, and particularly to Wendy McManamny and Briohny Marshall for coordinating the stall.
Father’s Day Breakfast
We trialled a new format this year for Father's Day Breakfast, and the feedback from dads and students has been very positive!
We had a wonderful array of both food and music to celebrate this special day!

Thank you to our helpers for setting up and serving on the day, and particularly to Janine Mitchell for coordinating the catering.
We hope our dads had a lovely Father's Day.
Year 8 parents let their hair down and danced the night away to 70/80s live music from 'DOWN for the COUNT'.
We were also treated to a delicious two course dinner.

Many thanks to Maggie Pascoe and Ash Glassel for inviting us to the Woodlands Golf Club for this dinner dance!
Who can resist an ELC Concert? It was such a heart-warming event.
Thank you to our helpers who served snacks and beverages before the concert. And thank you to the ELC for such a delightful evening.
The Judy Allen Award is presented each year at Celebration Night to a Kilvington community member who goes over and above their role and responsibilities.
