Years 4 to 5 Retirement Village Performance

Brass and Woodwind Soiree

Nicole Bull, Academic Dean of Performing Arts

The Soiree was held on Wednesday, 30 August to a small but appreciative audience. It was great to see so many students performing for the first time ever in front of an audience.

It is always a daunting experience to play solo for the first time, and we congratulate all of our first time performers.

Bupa Retirement Village Performance

The Arioso String Quartet performed at the Bupa Retirement Village in Windsor on 30 August.

The students had a fabulous time, and wrote a few fond memories of their performance.

'There were lots of animals and old people. The people were a great audience. It was fascinating that they took care of the animals themselves, and were very smiley. Overall, it was an incredible experience!'

Alessia Di Felice, Year 4

'It was fun to have an audience to perform to.  There were two dogs, one bird, about 10 million goldfish. It was fun. They were a good audience.'

Jacinta Land, Year 4

'There were two dogs there. We saw the big dog when we came in and saw a small dog where we performed. There was also a small bird and a few fish. It was a good experience.'

Edgar Chen, Year 5

'I really liked it because it is a good experience to perform in front of other people. There were two dogs, lots of fish and a bird. There were thirty people in the Aged Care. I enjoyed it!!'

Derrick Kwon, Year 4
