Pink Stumps Day

Staff v Student Cricket Match

It is that time again for the Senior Years Student Leadership to challenge the VBC staff to a cricket match.  The SRC fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation coincides with this event – the Viewbank College ‘Pink Stumps Day’.

How to be part of the fun

“Grab your mates (SY Leadership team Vs VBC Staff), turn your pitch pink (everyone dresses up in pink), fundraise for the McGrath Foundation (make a gold coin donation) and you’ll help place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia, making a real difference to families experiencing breast cancer.”

Viewbank College's Greatest Shave

On Friday March 13th, Health and Wellbeing Captain-Imogene Hetherington, Miss Vine and Mr Mulhall will be having their heads shaved and Mr Buttifant will be shaving his beard to support individuals and families facing blood cancer.

On Sunday 15th March, Emily Whitcombe of Year 7 will also be shaving her head with friends and family at her home.  If you would like to donate for Emily, there is a donations box at the General Office.

Donations will fund vital research to help more people survive blood cancers while improving their quality of life.

As well as the ‘shave’ event, students and teachers will be able to get their faces painted and/or hair sprayed funky colours for a gold coin donation in support.

If you are interested in donating in support of our volunteers being shaved, please click this link to access the Viewbank College team.
