Year 9 Skateboards

In Term 2 the Year 9 2D Art Students painted skateboard decks in response to the theme “Who Am I”. Students were encouraged to consider their unique God-given attributes, and the way that individual traits can be a gift to their community. The students were taught to graphically depict their conceptual ideas using spray paint on skateboards.

Well done, Year 9 Art students!

Classes have been harnessing their innate creativity in the art room. Along with their making skills and art and design knowledge, students have been creating artworks which reflect their personal experiences and ideas.

The year 3 students have been using clay making skills to create artworks about how God is always working in each of our live - weaving through our experiences to make something beautiful.

The year 4 students have been inspired by the work of Georgia O’Keefe by using oil pastels on paper to zoom in on the tiny details God has designed in flowers.

The year 6 students have created a landscape by choosing a medium and style of their choice of the most memorable places they have visited.
