Eisteddfod

A huge congratulations to all our students for their efforts at the Armidale Eisteddfod

last week. The whole school choir group received a Highly Commended. The recorder group received a second place and the 3/4/5/6 marimba group were awarded a first place! Miss Patterson and myself are so proud of the effort each and every student put into their performances and I can confidently say that they all gave it their all and their behaviour was outstanding!

Thank you to the families that came and supported us and those who helped pack away the equipment.

We are organising a trip in the last week of term to McDonalds/KFC for all the students as a reward for their hard work and dedication.

Well Done!

Health

Just a reminder that is very important to test your children using a Rapid Antigen Test in the morning before coming to school if they are showing the slightest of symptoms (even if it's just a runny nose or sniffle). Children often show very mild (if any) symptoms at all and Covid is very much within our school community. If you have family member(s) at home isolating with Covid and your other child(ren) show no symptoms, they are able to come to school, but they MUST BE TESTED DAILY and show negative results, regardless of whether they are showing symptoms or not, before attending!

I thank you all for your cooperation and support as I try and keep you and your kids as safe as possible in these crazy times.

If you need more RAT kits, please let the school know.
