Girls AFL Gala Day

Junior Girls AFL:

After winning their first game against Eltham HS and losing to Montmorency Secondary College, the girls played in a fantastic final game against St Helena, winning 22-15.

NMR is on the 22nd July.

Inter girls AFL:

Winning 4/4 games to go through to the next round! Great teamwork, sportsmanship and skills shown all day. Fantastic work.

NMR is on the 18th July.

NM Regional Cross Country

On Wednesday the 15th of June, 22 students represented Viewbank College at the Northern Metro Regional Cross Country event at Bundoora Park. 

Despite the extremely cold weather, all students did their best and represented the school with pride.

I would like to congratulate the following students that achieved a qualifying time for School Sports Victoria State Cross Country Championships:

• 12-13 Boys: Declan Loeckx (Finishing in 1st)
• 14 Girls: Niamh Henry (Finishing in 10th)
• 15 Girls: Poppy Scot-Dalgleish (Finishing 2nd)
• 15 Boys: Niklas Hyland (Finishing 12th)
• 16 Girls: Eva Wilson (Finishing 8th)

Finally a special mention to Poppy Scot-Dalgleish, Hannah Cervini and Zoe Bastian who finished 3rd in the teams event for the under 15 Girls.
