WOW what a wonderful term it has been at Somerville Primary School, I cannot believe how quickly it has flown by and that there is only 1 week left. We have had a wonderful term with lots of fantastic things happening as Mr Tapp has already mentioned. On top of all of that the Senior School had their District Lightning Premiership Day. All teams did a sensational job and we were very proud of the way they all represented our school. The SPS Senior Girls Football team will be playing next week on Wednesday at Lloyd Park and we wish them all the best for the day.

READING NIGHTS

I have continued to be super impressed with our students progress with their reading nights as we have had a number of students reach 50, 100 and 150 nights this term. Keep up the exceptional work in the last week of term and over the holidays.

ASSEMBLY AWARDS

Congratulations to all of our Somerville Star Award winners at our last assembly. You have all done a sensational job and set a wonderful example for your classmates.

As this is our final newsletter for Term 2 I would like to wish all of our students, families and staff a safe and relaxing holiday break. I hope everyone stays warm and has lots of fun with their family and friends.
