Our current Year 8 students are in the process of selecting their Year 9 electives for 2023.
Students will need to complete their selections by Friday 5th August 2022.
Year 8 students will spend time in Pastoral class selecting the right group of electives for them.
Throughout Term 2, Tyson (pictured below) decided to partake and join the Blue Edge program that ran before school on Wednesday and Friday mornings for 8 weeks. The program encouraged students to build skills in resilience, teamwork and communication. Tyson worked in collaboration with students from Year 7, 8 and 9 as well as staff and members from the Police Force. The program is all about empowering, developing, growing and educating students to be the best version of themselves.
All students who participated in the program received a certificate of completion at the end of the term. Well done to Tyson and all the students who participated in the program.
Students finished up the program with an excursion to Coonawarra Farm resort. Head to our 'What's been happening' page for more photos from the excursion.
Year 9 Student Ryan Cullinan has been selected to play for Team Victoria at SSA National Championships in July. Ryan was a standout in Under 16's last season and is a key player in this years campaign.
Ryan received his jumper at a function in Melbourne over the holidays.
Congratulations Ryan we look forward to hearing about the National Championships.

VCE Food studies students can be seen below mentoring Year 8 students on how to make a yummy apple crumble. This was the first time Year 8 students had a class in the Malgobila hospitality kitchen. The students were very excited and had lots of fun.
