Prep Gymnastics

Friday is an extra special day in the Prep student’s week because it is their Gymnastics day! Students start by walking all the way through the tunnel to the Gymnasium to meet their expert Delta Gymnastics coaches. Each student is in a coloured team. Gross motor movement skills are an important part of the Prep curriculum, and the forty-five-minute program is designed to incorporate essential movement-based activities to support physical and cognitive development. Students are challenged to discover their movement potential in a fun, safe environment with their peers. The class helps to develop their self-confidence and body awareness, and students learn skills that are transferrable to the classroom and the playground. Friday is always a great day in Prep!

Student Representative Council – Book Swap

Congratulations to the Student Representative Council for holding a successful ‘book swap’ this week. Thank you to all Primary families for contributing to this fundraising event. The children delighted in viewing the books each lunchtime and enjoyed the opportunity to exchange books for a gold coin donation. All money raised will be donated to the Smith Family charity to help a child in need.
