Gnome and Fairy Festival

After two years of Covid restrictions and lockdowns, we were able to participate in the Gnome and Fairy Festival on Sunday March 20th, at George Woods Reserve in Mordialloc.

The day was a huge success, not only for our school but also for the Mordialloc Rotary Club. 

Our student volunteers provided face painting, gnome painting, fairy floss galore and musical acts in the afternoon.

Our face painting tent in-particular was incredibly busy, with never ending lines right up until 4pm, when the event finished. We painted over 450 faces and had to run a crash course in face painting to other students and visiting teachers who had to step in and help!

On behalf of the Instrumental Music Program, we want to say a massive thank you to all of our staff and student volunteers on the day, it would not have been as successful without your help.

Looking very forward to setting up our tents again next year!
