Basketball Results
Year 4/5 GS Raptors
The GS Raptors and St David’s Kings always have competitive games when they play each other and this week was no exception. The half time score was 4-2 as both teams struggled to break each other’s defence. The Raptors strong defence kept the Kings to just 1 point in the second half with the final score 8-3.
Well done to Oscar, Downey, Lorenzo, Ronan and Jayden who all played the entire game with no rest and still battled hard until the end.
Scorers: Jayden, Ronan, Oscar and Downey (2 pts each).

Year 2/3 GS Thunder
GS Thunder ended the term with a very competitive game against the Wildcats (18-24). It was great to see the team playing so well together and sharing the ball around. Thunder showed excellent defence with some great steals and incepts by Rowdy, Tyler and Jessica. Anhad did some great passes and Jonte and Hunter scored some skilled baskets.
Scorers: Jonte (10pts) and Hunter (8pts).

Year 2/3 GS Rockets
The GS Rockets finished the term with a 14-4 win over the St David’s Flames. Eden once again dominated the rebounds and had a high scoring game, Layla performed some skillful dribbling and passing, Inara did some great steals and Nate’s explosive speed down the court made him impossible to catch.
Well done to all Rockets players for helping out the opposition team by spending time playing for them as they were short a player.
