Mother's Day Stall

A Mother's Day stall will be held in Week 1 of next term.

Registered volunteers are sought to help with the stall on 3rd and 5th May (Tues/Thurs) from 1.30 – 3.00pm.

Recycling Old Sports Shoes

Think again before tossing your old sports shoes in the bin!

It turns out they can be recycled as they contain valuable resources. Reclaimed materials - rubber, leather and fibres - are used to make new products such as gym mats, floors and playgrounds.

This is a great environmental outcome because shoe components can take more than 1,000 years to break down.

All you need to do is drop off them off at TreadLightly collection bins at participating sports stores in our area, including Rebel at Tea Tree Plus, The Athlete’s Foot at Modbury and SportsPower at Golden Grove.

Growing Faith at Home

The message of Easter is one of great joy. Jesus is risen from the dead! He has beaten death and now we have new life through him! Check out the latest GFH resource for some questions to ask each other and some activities to explore. What would you have said or done if you had seen the empty tomb that first Easter morning?

Have a blessed Easter everyone!
