OUR AMAZING EASTER RAFFLE

As you know our Easter Raffle is a much loved tradition here at CPS on the last day of term one each year. Ticket sales close today so please go to the Qkr app to purchase your tickets this afternoon. This special activity wouldn’t be possible without the support of many.

Thank you to:-

· Our PFA for organising the event, collecting donations and wrapping the prizes.

· Families for generously donating eggs or Easter treat to ensure there are many prizes to be won

· Lizzy’s Chocolates, a great friend to our community for again so generously donating the enormous egg as our first prize. We all know how delicious their chocolate is.

· Brett Nathan for arranging to stream the raffle so parents can be part of the draw, even from a distance. The link will be shared on Compass later this week.

· the PFA organisers who decided for the second year in a row to donate a chocolate hamper to St Kilda Sacred Heart Mission in order to brighten the day for some people who are less fortunate than we are.

STAFFING NEWS

  • We are saying a sad goodbye to Mr Stephen Chilver who has supported our students for the past 8 years. Stephen and his family are moving back to England shortly. Although we are sad to say goodbye, we understand that being close to family is important and we hope Stephen and his wife settle back to their lives living near their families. We look forward to introducing our new members of staff shortly.
  •  Baby News Ms Parker and her partner Dane, welcomed a second daughter, Hannah, recently. Alicia is currently on family leave and we hope she enjoys spending this precious time with Dane and her two girls.

SCHOOL EXPO/OPEN MORNING

Saturday 14th May

Parents who are aware of friends, neighbours or relatives who have a child ready to start school in 2023, please let them know that we are planning our annual School Expo for Saturday 14th May, from 10 till 12pm.

We encourage prospective families to join us on this occasion. We are excited to share many of the fine aspects of our school. Further details will be shared when we return next term.

SAVE THE DATE - TERM 2 WORKING BEE

We have scheduled a Working Bee for Saturday 7th May from 10 till 12pm. A notice will be sent home via Compass when we return next term. It has been many months since our last working bee and we welcome all volunteers. If you are able to assist on this day, please pop this date in your diary.  No formal skills are required. We welcome the efforts of all community members. We traditionally work for 1 ¾ hours and then spend a short time informally sharing a cuppa and some morning tea.
