Winter Uniform

Students may start wearing their Winter Uniform as the weather gets cooler. As communicated last term, our supplier of school uniforms, 'Bob Stewart', have asked us to pass on to our school community that they are having delays in receiving school uniform pieces due to COVID i.e. the manufacturing/delivery/staff shortages etc.

They anticipate that some winter garments will not be ready until late April therefore students have until the middle of May to transition to their winter uniform. All students must be in their full Winter Uniform from Monday 16 May.

Classroom Helpers

We are thrilled to be welcoming our Classroom Helpers back into the classrooms next week. A reminder for all volunteers to sign in and out at the Office each time. Please ensure that the school Office has a copy of your current Working with Children's Check and that you have completed the 2022 Volunteer Application Form on Operoo.

Enjoy your time in the classroom.

Mothers' Day Events

Our annual events for Mothers' Day are rapidly approaching with our Mothers' Day Stall (Wednesday 4 May) and Mothers' Day Morning Tea (Thursday 5 May). On Thursday 5 May, all mothers are invited into the classrooms from 8.45-9.15am.

Thanks to Jai Destefanis and her team for organising the Mothers' Day Stall and to our PA Dads' for organising our Mothers' Day Morning Tea.

Term 2 School Closure Days

A reminder of the following School Closure Days this term:

Friday 27 May (Staff Faith Formation/School Review Preparation)

Monday 13 June (Queen's Birthday Public Holiday)

Wellbeing

This term we are excited to commence the "Student Wellbeing in Action" award. This award was created by our 2022 Class Captains and is awarded weekly to a student demonstrating acts of kindness towards others. The student is selected by the Principal/Deputy Principal and will be awarded their certificate during Assembly on Friday.

The 2022 Class Captains have also suggested a Wellbeing Raffle Ticket program to promote positive behaviours that align with our school expectations. Students exhibiting such behaviours will receive a raffle ticket from a staff member. The raffle ticket will be placed into a box in the Office. At Friday Assembly, a ticket will be drawn and the recipient will be able to make one reward choice. See below.
