Principal Post

Dear Families,

We began our week with a two fold ceremony. Firstly we formally welcomed our Prep students into our school and secondly we  presented our Year 6 Capatains and Leaders with their badges. This ceremony was scheduled for the beginning of the year but due to COVID restrictions had to be postponed.  It was a truly uplifting ceremony. It was fantastic to be able to finally have some of our parents join us in support of the children.

As Principal I am so proud that we have students who lead so responsibly, who are so proud to be part of our school and who look out so carefully for one another.

Our Preps were so warmly welcomed ; may they always be truly supported in their learning and wellbeing and continue to feel a strong sense of connection and belonging to our school.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

It was such a special evening last night with  several of our Year 3 students making their First Reconciliation.  We congratulate these students. We  thank their parents and teachers who have helped them prepare so well for this Sacrament.  As an example to these young people,  may we continue to be people who model forgiveness,  and who strive to look out for those in need through prayer and action.

Swimming

Our  Swimming program  finishes tomorrow. Organisationally the Swimming program  is a big undertaking and I thank you for your support of your children in ensuring that they had what was required for the lessons.

I thank all the teachers and support staff who do a brilliant job. Water safety  is vitally  important as you know and the students continue to develop their skills and water awareness.  Thank you for your support of the program.

Gala Sports Day

The second summer inter school sports day for our year 5/6 students will be held this Friday.

We wish our students well; knowing that they will represent themselves and our school in the very best way.

Last Friday's sports Gala Day  went extremely well!!!

Thank you to our parents who assisted on the day.
