Did you know you could be part of a group of people who are making a change for ocean biodiversity at DSC?
This article is about not forcing, but inspiring you to join this group. If you choose to replace non-biodegradable, polluting plastic (glad wrap that will last hundreds of years on our planet), to a more environmentally suitable set of reusable water bottles, lunchboxes and cutlery. This can make a positive change. It helps the Earth live healthier and longer. Buying a bigger box of snacks such as cookies or lollies and bringing a small amount in a reusable container, instead of the little disposable packs, can reduce the use of the damaging plastics. We understand wrapping sandwiches in cling wrap or buying a can drink from the canteen is ‘fast and convenient’ but would it be worth an innocent animal's life?
