Primary Co-Curricular Report

All teams have now played their first games for the season.

The Primary A Soccer team went down to CBC 3 - 0 in their first match of the season. It is always tough in the first game with a new team and new systems to learn, but CBC were too strong. The Primary B team staged a great comeback in their game against Cabra. The boys were 4 - 0 down at half time but rallied to secure a 4 - 4 draw at the final whistle. Top effort! The Year 3/4/5 teams had strong wins against CBC after a couple of defeats the week previous.

Both basketball teams had tough matches and were outclassed by more experienced opposition. Special mention to the Year 4/5 team who fought hard despite not starting with a full side.

The chess team did well against an older Wilderness team, securing a 2 - 2 draw with a forfeit. Terrific effort! They are in action again this week against North Adelaide and will be looking forward to another tough contest.

The lacrosse team had a BYE last week but are back in action this weekend at East Torrens Payneham.
