CONGRATULATIONS RIPPER MUMS

For the past FIVE years a group of Ripper Mums have been playing netball every Thursday night at the Molesworth St courts in Prahran. For the Ripper Moles and the Ripper Misfits, it's been a fabulous way to maintain some level of fitness but, more importantly, a great way to connect and socialise outside of the school grounds.

On Thursday 14th November, the Ripper Moles played in our first EVER knock-out final! It was a hard fought match with scores tied at three-quarter time. At the final siren, we lost by ONE goal! We sorely missed the energetic Susie Condron on the night - she made a gallant effort, travelling from Rockhampton in Qld to be there for the game but events conspired against her and she just missed out. Great effort Moles and Misfits - well done on a ripper season

TEA TOWEL FUNDRAISER

Make sure you check your child's bag as all tea towel orders were distributed earlier this week. We raised over $1,000 for school resources with this very popular fundraiser.

Thank you for your support and HUGE thanks to Sally Bradshaw and Miss Zoe for co-ordinating this one for us!

Please contact the office if you missed out and would like to place an order for a tea towel ... we are collecting names and will place another order before the end of the year if we get enough interest

2022 will be the 100th anniversary of Ripponlea Primary School - a proud milestone of our wonderful community. It's not too early to start thinking about how we want to celebrate! We would like to hear from anyone with long standing connections to the school ... we are collecting memorabolia of all sorts. If you have anything that would contribute to our celebrations or know of anyone with stories to tell or who would like to be involved, please contact the school directly: Ripponlea.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au
