Next week all schools will have 4 Pupil Free Days – no children should be on site.

During those 4 days staff will be at school as usual.

Teachers will be working to develop:

• On line learning experiences for those students who will be learning from home in term 2.
• Send home hard copy learning packs for those students who are learning from home but do not have devices or access to internet
• Face to face learning programs for students who will be attending school in term 2

During next term information will be sent to families via:

• SMS
• Class Dojo
• Seesaw
• Skoolbag

We are required by the Department for Education to inform them of which options families will be taking for learning during term 2.

We will be sending SMS today to all families with the following message:

A.      My children will be learning from home.

B.      My children will be learning at school.

We ask you to reply via SMS with either A or B

It is critical that ALL families / students connect to the apps that are relevant to your child/ren.

To help our staff provide support for your child/ren we need to know how which type of learning your child will be undertaking next term.

We will be sending sms messages to all families today – please reply via sms as soon as you can so we ensure your child does not miss out on their learning program.

We know that health and safety measures will continue for several months and we are committed to ensuring that our students have access to continue their learning during this time.

Have a safe holiday break with your children – if we all abide by the expectations of

• Frequently and thoroughly washing our hands

And

• Practising keeping a safe social distance we will get through this very difficult time.
