WELCOME BACK

Welcome back everyone! 

Today was the first session of garden classes for some of the grade 3's. It's always a great time to introduce the children to the program that's going to feature enormously in their Grade 3 & 4 years.

This year we have two new specialists starting with us; Angel Munro, who will be taking kitchen classes and Bree Townsend who will be conducting garden classes.

As many of the regular volunteers know, I have resigned from role of garden specialist and will depart once our new team is ready to take over the reins.

Both Bree and Angel bring much enthusiasm to their new roles and I'm sure they will love the program as much as I have.

So to that effect, I wish to encourage as many of you as possible to volunteer and help with both the kitchen and garden classes.

If you are interested (or have family that might have spare time and can help out), please contact the office and they will pass your details onto us.

Also, a HUGE thank you to the parents and children who watered the garden over the holiday break and helped keep our produce alive.
