Student of the Month

Krisha Reyes (W2) - Winton

Krisha is to be commended for her positive and enthusiastic commitment to the school community. Last year, she gave up her time to be a Federation Friend, welcoming and assisting our Year 10 students to transition to Year 11. A talented musician who has been singing and playing guitar for as long as she can remember, Krisha performed at the Talent Quest and at the Winton Cluster mass in 2017.  This year, she has further extended her participation in wider school activities, becoming a member of the College Choir and performing at the opening mass. Krisha also wrote and performed an original song at the opening school assembly and was the sole performer at a lunchtime concert held to recognise International Women’s Day. Krisha is a supportive, respectful and highly valued member of the W2 home group. She hopes to study midwifery or psychology when she finishes Year 12 and pursue her passion for music in her spare time.

Chloe Nunan (M2) - MacKillop

Chloe has made a great start to her final year in MacKillop. She has helped to lead and organise one of the fundraising activities for our Timor Leste project, the Easter Raffle. Her initiative to get things done has lead the way for others to follow. Chloe demonstrates all of our MacKillop values, in Faith, Service and Social Responsibility.

Shania Ly (C2) - Chang

Shania has been an exemplar of Chang values of compassion and endeavour this term. Shania has shown great compassion for a friend in need recently, supporting them through a tough time. She has also represented the college in volleyball and ultimate Frisbee (this term’s Cluster Sport). Shania is the type of student who leads through example, and is a positive role model for others to get involved. Shania has also been a generous contributor to the Philippines food appeal and project compassion.

Brodie Krslovic (B2) - Bradman

Brodie is a cheerful and positive student who demonstrates a generosity of spirit, giving freely to Project Compassion.  Brodie is an active participant in cluster activities and has a track record of regularly assisting with setting up lunchtime concerts and other performances held at the College.

Matthew Waring (D2) - Dunlop

Matthew has approached the year with determination.  His attitude to his studies is exemplary. He demonstrates very strong organisational skills,  is working diligently and is always receptive to constructive criticism and advice. Matthew’s social conscience is evident by the very generous contributions that he makes to  College initiatives. In tutor he is invariably co-operative and helpful.

Brandon Cassar (T3) - Truganini

Brandon Cassar is a year 12 Truganini student in 2018. Brandon is a diligent and hard working student across all his subjects and has  managed his time well across study and part time work. His ongoing hard work and dedication to his studies this year have been attributed to his nomination for Truganini Student of the Month - Well done Brandon!
