K-6 Sport

Diocesan Summer Trials

Good luck to Aiden Tighe, Tom Taylor, Isaac Whan and George Taylor who are participating in the Diocesan Summer Trials on Friday in Gunnedah. Thank you to patents for transporting them from Keepit to the trials.

 

Year 1 Swimming

This is the last week of swimming for Year 1. They have learnt many new skills and have enjoyed the chance to cool off each week! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for photos this week.

 

Year 3-6 Sport – Term 4

Year 3 will be going to the Town Pool for stroke development, water safety procedures, rescues and to participate in water activities this week. Students will be placed in a variety of groups and supervised by classroom teachers and aides. Students will travel to the pool by bus from 1:45pm – 3:00pm. Cost will be $3.40 for pool entry (season passes may be used).

Term 4 Sporting Dates

•    Year 3-6 Swimming starts – Friday 22 November

•    Diocesan Summer Trials, Gunnedah (selected Year 5 students only) – Friday 29 November

Secondary Sport

School sport

Elective Sports will resume this week and run for the remainder of the term. Students will be doing one of the following: Indoor Sports $4.00, Road 2 Victory Functional Fitness $5.00, Tennis, Cricket and School Sport.

 

All students are reminded to bring a drink bottle and a hat. Students going to Road 2 Victory Functional Fitness are required to bring a towel.
