Year 8 Drama Incursion

On Tuesday the 20th June, a group of performers from Impro Melbourne came to Patterson River to perform their show ‘Improvazanza’ to our Year 8 students. The show was highly engaging and explained the processes of the skill of improvisation in an interactive way.  The show is affiliated with Regional Arts Victoria (RAV). Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed the show.

International Student Visits

Since the start of this term we have had five International students visit from China to see what Aussie school life is like. We welcomed Kody, Katy, Jason, Jimbo and Kiki. During their two week stay they attended classes with their buddies and included cultural exchanges such as a community lunch, a trip to the zoo, community connections and a presentation ceremony. We are very proud of our students who assisted as buddies and guided the students around the school and helped them with their schoolwork. A big thanks to Josh, Caitlin, Annabelle, Emily, Olivia, Sarah, Chase, Tristan and Jane.
