Enrolment Confirmation letters sent to
parents: 10th August 2017
Enrolment forms: Returned to the General Office by Friday 15th September 2017
Partnership Meetings: Monday 20th November or Wednesday 29th November, 2017 3:30pm - 7:00pm. (Bookings details to follow.)
Orientation day: Tuesday 12th December 2017. 9am - 3pm.
First day 2017: Wednesday 31st January 2018.
This compulsory meeting has become a vital element of creating a successful transition into secondary school. Partnership Meetings are available on either Monday 20th November or Wednesday 29th November, 2017 from 3.30 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. in the Year 7 Centre and are expected to take approximately 15 minutes.

As part of the transition from Year 6 to Year 7, students in government secondary schools participate in an orientation day. All government schools hold this orientation day on the same day.
Orientation day at Patterson River Secondary College will commence at 9.00am in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) with the Principal's welcome, with parents welcomed to stay.
Students will participate in the following:
Students are encouraged to ask plenty of questions throughout the day as this will help with their transition into secondary school. Students will be dissmissed from the PAC at 3pm.
Transition into secondary school is a period of change that can be both challenging and exciting. At PRSC we believe that a successful and positve transition from primary school into secondary school plays great importance in our students engagement and success for not only year 7, but for longevity, achievements and long term results throughout their secondary school career.
