WELLBEING NEWS
It has been wonderful to see that students have settled in well to the school year. As parents we are all keen to hear about their day. Here are some useful questions to engage in conversation about the school day that you may find helpful.
* What was the best part of your day?
* What was the hardest part of your day?
* What did you do at lunchtime?
* Who did you play with today?
* What made you laugh today?
* What are you looking forward to tomorrow?
* What book did you read today?
* How were your friends today?

Ciao a tutti! Benvenuti to a new year of language learning.
The prep students have all had their very first lesson of Italian
where I showed them my ITALY showbag! They were especially
interested in my caffettiera. Ask your prep child to greet you and
say ‘my name is…’ in Italian.
The grade 1 &2 students have been working on pronouncing the
following conversation;
Come ti chiami? (what’s your name).
Mi chiamo… (My name is…).
And since February 9th was world pizza day, I told them the story
of pizza! Ask your child to retell you the story.
Ciao
