Concert Band Primary School Visit

The Lyndale Concert Band and Zephyr Band went out this week to perform at Wooranna Park Primary School.

Our students were great ambassadors for Lyndale and performed magnificently to an adoring crowd of primary aged students.

The band received fan mail, the Wooranna Park students got up and danced, and as a glowing endorsement of our band’s performance, Principal Amanda Ellaby has invited us back for an encore.

We are so proud of our students and the professionalism with they conducted themselves.

There are some wonderful things going on in the Performing Arts at Lyndale. We can’t wait to show you what’s coming up in term 2.

State School Spectacular Student

A huge congratulations to Savanna Darbon for her successful audition as a feature in the State School Spectacular.

Savannah will be involved in a number of rehearsals and training sessions as the cast and crew prepare for the show which takes place in September at John Cain Arena.

The event will also be televised in December.

Congratulations Savannah! We can’t wait to see you in concert and on TV.
