Level 3

Level 3 students have been learning greetings and numbers in Chinese. Students have made Chinese numbers using colourful counters. They have also practiced writing numbers in Chinese characters.

Level 4

Level 4 students have been practicing the vocabulary of animals in Chinese. They have learned counting and quantifying animals using appropriate measure words.

Level 5

Level 5 students have installed the Chinese Pinyin (Romanised script) keyboard onto their computers. They can type Chinese characters by inputting Chinese Pinyin. Students have been learning dates and days of the week in Chinese this term.

Level 6

Level 6 students have been learning countries and nationalities in Chinese. Students have been practising how to ask for one’s name and nationality and respond accordingly with a partner.
