Congratulations to following students who were awarded the End of Term Awards.

 

Prep

Louella Dickson for her kind nature towards her Prep classmates and for approaching all tasks with a positive attitude.

 

 

 

Zephie Nally for her excellent start to Mount Carmel College. She always enters the room with a happy disposition and a willingness to learn and is kind towards her classmates and her teachers.

 

 

Year 1

Eloise Bean for being kind and caring towards her classmates. Always thinking of and offering to help others. For showing a deep interest in our Science unit about the changing sky and landscape. She has answered questions and made deep connections with her prior learning.

 

Charlotte Melody for showing genuine interest in all learning in Year 1. She is an excellent listener, actively contributing to class discussions and is motivated to complete group and individual tasks.

 

 

Year 2

Rose Darcey for her enthusiastic approach and attitude towards all areas of learning enabling her to produce her best work.

 

 

 

Parker Kelly for her cheerful attitude in class and always trying her best across all areas of learning.

 

 

 

Year 3

Evelyn Bresnehan for her amazing effort in settling into Year 3 by making new friends, contributing to class discussions and always trying her best with her learning.

 

 

Madison Schenk for her kind, friendly and approachable manner she consistently displays towards her peers. She always works well with others during collaborative tasks which contributes to a positive learning environment in our classroom.

 

Year 4

Ivy Martin for her quietly confident and diligent approach to her learning. She strives for excellence in her thoughtful and considered application to learning and completion of tasks.

 

 

Mila Tracey for her dedicated, committed and enthusiastic approach to her learning. She applies herself in a thoughtful and conscious way, striving to do her best in all tasks.

 

 

Year 5 Navy

Frida Barclay for her conscientious approach across all areas of the curriculum and being a reliable and responsible member of the class.

 

 

 

Victoria Quique Gordon for her work stamina and taking pride in the content and presentation of her work across all areas of the curriculum.

Year 6 Navy

Edwina Blakeway for her kind and caring nature towards all of her peers as well as the comfort, support, guidance and friendship she has shown to our new students in Year 6.

 

 

Gretel Sangwell for her constant enthusiastic attitude twoards all areas of school life. She is always willing to support the College and her peers as well as delivering her schoolwork to a high standard witha  positive outlook.

 

 

Year 6 White

Isabella Birchall for an excellent start to life at Mount Carmel College, consistent effort in all learning tasks, and excellent results, especially in Mathematics. 

 

 

Sophie Haremza for outstanding effort, working consistently and conscientiously in all learning tasks, and a marvelously positive attitude to her learning.

 


Making Jesus Real

Each term, Primary staff are asked to nominate a student or students whom they believe is living out a faith filled life and reflecting the values of Jesus. These nominations are proudly on display in the Primary school but also below for all to read.  

 

Prep

Miss Botte and Mrs Fasnacht proudly nominates Arshia Pradhananga for her excellent start to Mount Carmel this Term. 

Arshia is a kind member of our Prep classroom and is always happy to help.

 

 

Miss Botte and Mrs Fasnacht proudly nominates Ishreet Singh for her willingness to lend a hand in our classroom and for always listening and trying her best with her schoolwork. 

 

 

Year 1

Mrs Murphy and Miss Smith nominate Sunny Bui.

Sunny has quickly made friends at Mount Carmel because she is a good listener who shows kindness, patience and understanding. 

 

 

Mrs Murphy and Miss Smith nominate Ivy Stafford.  

Ivy listens respectfully to her teachers and peers and often shows kindness in the form of helping and checking when her friends are upset. 

 

 

Year 2

Mrs Wall and Mrs Reynolds nominate Parker Kelly for continually demonstrating the spirit of Jesus in our classroom through her kind and welcoming attitude.

 

 

Mrs Wall and Mrs Reynolds nominate Leila Mahmoud for demonstrating the spirit of Jesus through her love of learning, striving to do her best in all tasks and the kindness she shows to teachers and peers alike.

 

 

Year 3

Ms Green proudly nominates Eliza Round for the kind and caring manner she always displays towards her teachers and peers.

 

 

 

Year 4

Miss Smith nominates Christelle Ghanam for her friendliness and helpfulness towards her teachers and peers. 

She is always looking for ways to help others and bring a smile to the faces of those around her.

She is a caring and gentle member of the Year 4 class. .

 

 

Year 5 Navy

Mrs Himson and Miss Magill proudly nominate Olivia Banks-Smith for her support of her peers in the classroom and the playground.

Mr Lowe would like to nominate Grace Fenton. She continually demonstrates the spirit of Jesus in our classroom through her kindness and inclusion of others.

 

 

 

Mr Lowe would like to nominate Asha Lagerewskij. Asha has shown a wonderful attitude to all areas of her schooling.

 

 

Year 6 Navy

Miss Harper proudly nominates Sophia McNulty for her continuous support and kind nature towards her peers. Sophia always demonstrates the spirit of Jesus in 6 Navy.

 

 

Miss Harper proudly nominates Carla Mione for her love of learning and determination towards all of her schooling and everything she does.  Carla brings much joy and happiness to 6 Navy everyday.
