AFTERCARE NEWS

Over the last 2 weeks at Carnegie OSHC, our staff is focusing on incorporating the updated My Time, Our Place elements within our program. We are promoting cultural responsiveness among our children and our staff is engaging in lots of cultural cooking and art projects from different countries to introduce the children to diverse cuisines and countries. 

In today’s world, cultural diversity and awareness is becoming increasingly important, and it’s essential that children learn about and appreciate different cultures. By exposing our children to diverse cultures, our children developing empathy, respect, and understanding for people from all walks of life. 

We would also like to request our parents and families to come and volunteer to make our service more diverse and our children more culturally aware. We look forward to having you! We still have lost property left over from the Holiday Program that can be collected from the gymnasium.
