Robina State School Bands

On Monday the 24th of April Carnegie Primary School were wowed by Robina  State High School Bands. What a special start to the term! We trust you enjoyed the performance as much as we did. Our fingers are crossed they come back to Carnegie in the future! Here are a few reflections from our special Robina State High School Bands performance. 

 

Year 2 said: 

Saif “I liked how the drums were bins!” 

Darsh “I loved how there were VIPs  

that got to watch inside the orchestra  

while they played!” 

Eden “I liked the violin and the cello  

because I play the violin and I learn it at  

school, it made me want to get even  

better!” 

A few comments from year 3: 

Eva “I liked how they played songs we knew like Poker face and Bad Romance!”

Dani “I liked when they played violin because I love playing violin.” 

Darius “I really liked the wind instruments, they made a good sound.” 

Alexey “I like how they chose a person and they controlled the orchestra with a baton.” 

Raf, Eddie, Toby “Our favourite song was welcome to the jungle because it’s by Guns N  Roses.” 

Alfie “I liked when they were playing the guitar because I play guitar.” 

Nicola and Olivia “I liked when they played Moves like Jagger.”

Mickey “I loved the guitars because they were  

electric!”

Jacob “My favourite thing was the trumpets! Because  they were really loud!” 

Shubham “My favourite thing was the drums  

because they were SO loud!” 

Maya “I liked the xylophones because they had nice music!” 

Asher “I liked all of the instruments because the songs were just too good!”
