Learning and Teaching

LS3 Seniors

“The way positive reinforcement is carried out is more important than the amount”.

Our Term 2 Inquiry topic of ‘Connections’ will guide students to make deep and meaningful connections with the world around them.

The ability to make connections involves a process of connecting prior knowledge to new knowledge and experiences. By reinforcing positive behaviours we will aim to build students' confidence, self-identity and self-esteem, empowering them to make positive choices in all walks of life outside school.

Students have dissected and identified the characteristics that create a good leader, because they believe that the future leaders learn from the past and embrace acceptance and change for a better future. We will display and celebrate our students on our PBL wall as ‘Star of the Week’ and TOKENS will be used to emphasise our values of Respect, Responsibility and Kindness.
