Pasta Making Incursion

Ciao a tutti, Hello everyone, we have had a very exciting start to the week, our Italian Week celebration has been enjoyed by all.  We started the week with a very colourful Italian dress up day.  One student from each class received a prize for best dressed.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we were very lucky to have Big Pocket Education attend Greenvale Primary to show all students how to make their very own fresh pasta.  The gym was transformed into an Italian restaurant, filled with pasta machines and of course plenty of flour!  Each student and teacher brought home 300g of fresh fettuccine to cook with their family. The students were all eager to participate and were immersed in the pasta making. Thanks to Jill Tascone and her Big Pocket helpers.  Both teachers and students worked with a buddy and participated with great enthusiasm. There were many happy faces during the pasta making as each student experienced success.
