Dear Parents and Friends,

 

Welcome to the third  week of term 2.  This week one of our focuses is the gift of  Mother’s. Our children will participate in a mass where we give thanks for Mother’s this Friday at 12 noon, all are welcome to attend.  We also invite you to stay after mass for a shared lunch with your child or children. 

 

On Tuesday our Sacramental children head to St. Patrick’s church as part of our preparation for receiving the Sacraments of Euchartist and Confirmation. This will be from 11.30 to 1.00pm. 

 

On Saturday evening  6.00pm on the 20th May the children will receive the sacraments Eucharist and Confirmation.  Bishop Shane McKinlay will be the celebrant at  the mass.  This is also the weekend of St. Patrick’s Parish 160th celebrations.

On behalf of the St Patrick’s Parish Pastoral Council and the Parish community, it is with great joy that I invite you to grace us with your presence this Occasion. On the 20th of May 2023, Saturday at 11 am, Bsp Shane Mckinlay will preside over the Celebration of the Eucharist with us (Clergy of the diocese) concelebrating, in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Ford Street Wangaratta, Victoria. We will have a shared lunch following the celebration of the Eucharist in the Parish Hall.

A novena Mass will commence on the 11th of May until the 19th at 6pm in St Patrick’s Church. The novena mass is an opportunity for our schools to be involved in our Parish Liturgies. Students, families and teachers from the school community are specifically invited to attend the novena Mass on Monday 15th May as a pilgrim group, shared with Galen Catholic College. We also invite the school to provide a commentator, and offertory gifts bearers.

 

All in our school community are invited to attend this Novena mass on Monday 15th of May at 6.00pm.  If you would like to be part of the offertory procession, please let me know via the office.

Mother’s day Stall.

Thursday is the Mother’s Day stall in the hall. 

 

School Beanies.

Chilly mornings  are back  and so are the school beanies.  These are available through the office and are $20.00. 

 

Covid.

We have reported cases of Covid  in each area of our school.  If your child has symptoms please test and act accordingly.  Positive cases are advised to isolate for five days.  If your child is unwell they should stay home. 

We have RAT tests available at school.If needed please ring through to the office or email and we will send them home with your child.
