Garden News

This last fortnight, garden activities involved distributing new soil, and sowing winter seeds such as Tatsoi, Swede, Mizuna lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, and beetroot. Millie Slattery volunteered to care for alfalfa shoots and did a wonderful job germinating these in a glass jar (see photo).  Garlic cloves will be planted early next term and classes will collect autumn leaves to make compost.

Thank you to Chris Knott for volunteering to finish off distributing soil to the veggie beds.
