Year 11 Careers Expo  🎖️

On Thursday 4th May, all year 11 students attended the 2023 Careers Expo at the Caulfield Racecourse. Students were offered an opportunity to engage with guest speakers, TAFE's, and Universities from Australia and around the world to explore options for beyond school. Information covered throughout the seminars or the exhibitors included:

• Tertiary Course-Universities, Tafe colleges and training providers
• Careers
• Employment and cadetship Opportunities
• Study Advice
• Gap year options and international exchange
• VCE resources for subjects-English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Legal Studies, Business Management, Psychology, Health and Human Development
• Student support services
• Tutoring services, lectures and study skills programs
• Youth Services and programs

It was fantastic to see all year 11’s on the day engaged in the expo and representing the Sunbury College school values. 

Year 9 and 10 Trades Fit Expo 👗

On Thursday 11th May, a number of year 9 & 10 female students attended the 2023 Trades Fit Expo – Young Women in Trades and Tech at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Students were offered an opportunity to engage with guest speakers and explore the exciting world of Trade and technology industries. Students learned about rewarding career paths and career opportunities in industries such as electrical, automotive, aviation, plumbing, marine, robotics, clean energy, gaming, and others. It was fantastic to see all students experiencing a range of hands-on activities, demonstrations and being engaged in discussions with women who are working in diverse industries.
