Y9/10 Sustainable Food Solutions

Last term, as part of their PBL, students in Sustainable Food Solutions were given the challenge of creating a meal that produced no food waste. The dish also had to be presentable for a restaurant, cooked and plated within 75 minutes, and kept within a $10 budget. 

 

It was wonderful to see all of the creative dishes our students came up with. Some examples of the dishes produced included banana peel bacon, whole orange cake, watermelon rind stir-fry and beetroot cookies!
