Environmental Council

March 5th was also known as Clean Up Australia Day. As a school, on Friday the 3rd of March, many of our students volunteered around our school to help with the activity. We would like to thank these students for their time and effort, and extend an even bigger thanks to the seniors who led the multiple groups throughout the day as well as Mr Saban who gave up his time to help out on the day.

Thanks to Clean Up Australia Day Event organisers, who the school gave a donation to. They do excellent work each year and we look forward to seeing the work that they do in the Tamworth community for many years to come. 

After the great work performed by our student volunteers around the school the Tamworth Regional Council was nice enough to collect the rubbish and dispose of it accordingly.

Overall, it was a great day and we look forward to doing this even better next year. We hope that the support and success of the event will only grow. A special thanks, as always to Mr Nichols for coordinating and running this event.
