Interschool Chess Challenge

In the end of February, the McCarthy Chess club was involved in the Interschool Chess competition, which was hosted by the Armidale Secondary College. McCarthy sent 18 players to this competition and they were great ambassadors to the school. 

Our players put in some strong performance and came second in the competition. This means that McCarthy qualifies for the next round, where our best 5 players will take on other schools around NSW.

Congratulations to all players. The Chess club runs every Friday, second break in the Library. All are welcome to join.
