Celebrating 19 Years of Moama Anglican Grammar

Our annual Foundation Day Service marks one of the most important dates and events in our school calendar each year. It is a day which celebrates the foundation, achievements, and history of our great school.

The story of our school’s foundation, rapid growth, and significant development over its 19 years of service to the Echuca / Moama region is inspiring. It is an example of the power of community and what can be achieved when people rally together with passion, shared purpose, a growth mind set, and an aligned vision for the future.

In January 2023 I was afforded the honour of commencing as the 5th Principal of our school and I am fortunate to be a part of a vibrant, highly successful school, and a thriving school community, full of talented, caring, and passionate staff, students, and families.

Moama Anglican Grammar’s story began in 2004 through the vision of the Murray Shire Council to create a secondary school in Moama. Over the past 19 years many people have enabled this vision to be realised and have contributed to Moama Anglican Grammar’s development. At today’s Foundation Day Service, we acknowledged and conveyed gratitude to all members of our community, past and present, who have played a part in our school's 19-year journey.

In 2024 we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the life of our school, a significant milestone in our school’s history that we will recognise and celebrate accordingly as a community. More will be shared regarding our plan for the 20th Anniversary celebration later in the year.

In closing, I very much look forward to working together with our students, staff, families, and our Board to build upon the traditions and foundations of our great school, and, as others have done before us, work tirelessly and purposefully towards a bold future vision for the next 20+ years of our schools’ development.
