Administration Matters
We're loving that Spring has arrived. I hope you have had a great week.
Firstly, we have partnered again with the local Alexandrina Council to support their ‘Anti-Poverty Week’ awareness campaign. Each classroom throughout the School has been given a plastic tub in which non-perishable food items can be donated to support families in our region who are doing it really tough. The donation of just a few food items from each staff member and student will have these bins full to overflowing and be an incredible encouragement to the charitable organisations in our community who provide support to families as needs arise. We have until the end of the term to support this cause.
Secondly, we are getting behind Operation Christmas Child and working together to fill as many shoe boxes as we can with small gifts for children living in the poverty stricken regions of the world, where a Christmas gift would only be in their wildest dreams. We have a number of Shoe boxes in Student Services. We would like to invite families to take a box and fill it with appropriate gifts for a child of the age and gender you select, then return the filled shoe box to student services. The School will then pay the $10 delivery for each box, using funds raised at Family Fun Day in Term 1 and arrange for the completed boxes to be delivered to the depot.
Boxes need to be returned by Tuesday 24th September so we can arrange their delivery. For more information you can visit the Operation Christmas Child website.
Reflecting on how well off we really are, I don’t think I could ever find myself in a position of giving too much – Thanks for jumping on board and working with us to model to the students that treating others how you would want to be treated is a great way to live your life.

Photo Consent Form - Please send back
We as a school have a growing responsibility in the digital world, ensuring we have the right processes, resources, training and tools in place to manage the student's personal data appropriately. Thanks to the many families who have returned the student photo consent form so quickly. I really appreciate your support in this area as we ensure all consents are in place for the varied uses of images. Please keep these forms coming in before the end of this term. Any questions regarding these consents, please do not hesitate to be in touch with me for further details.
Kind regards,
Lynette Colebatch
