Dad's Footy Carnival 2019

Attention all Dads
Clifton Hill Primary is looking to enter a North of Yarra Dads team in the upcoming Dads Footy Carnival day on Sat Aug 31st.
This fun filled family carnival day consists of several short games (2 x 15 minute halves) between various primary school dads. Star VFL / AFL players from our vintage also play on the day rotating between each team. Past stars to play include Peter Daicos and Anthony Koutoufides to name a few. We may even have our own star dad in the CHPS team – stay tuned.
This day originated in 2013 to ‘support men’s health through community, friendships and physical activity’ and comprises a group of mainly bayside primary school dads getting together for a social day of footy. Somehow a small group of North Yarra parents participated in 2017 which several CHPS dads were a part of. I can vouch that the day, and the training sessions preceding it were a lot of fun.
To generate enough interest to fill a team we will need about 20 dads, so this is a call out to all Dads, lets dust off those boots and register your interest by emailing your name and contact details to Matt Harris at matthew@maahu.com.au
Training and further game details will follow, subject to us being able to fill a team.
Team from 2017 with Peter Daicos in centre.
