Sister School Visit

This week we have been hosting nineteen students and four staff from our Chinese sister school in Huaibei.  In its tenth year, this program has grown to involve two of our local primary schools, Abbottsford and Alphington partnering with other schools in Huaibei.  Thank you to our wonderful families who hosted students for four nights, providing an unforgettable experience of Melbourne life.  Without the support of these families, this program would not be possible.

Curriculum in Focus

In an effort to create a relevant and meaningful fortnightly newsletter publication, we will be bringing you a new regular section which seeks to inform parents of teaching practices, current research and student learning in specific curriculum areas.  We hope this is relevant and informative and provides ways in which you can support and encourage your students at home.  Please read Sally Meadham's "Cultures of Thinking" article this edition, and click the heart at the bottom if you found it useful.
