Prayer & Acknowledgment

On Monday, August 15th, we celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of Mary with a special Prayer and Song from the students in the Junior Years.

The Feast is a celebration of God’s great and special love for Mary, who was so faithful to His will that at her death, she was taken straight to Heaven, body and soul.

Mary was an ordinary woman who placed her trust completely in God.  Through her life we see the great blessings that can come to us when we believe and trust in God’s way.  As we celebrate Mary’s faith, let us pray that we will grow to trust God in our lives and shine with the radiance of God’s love as Mary did.

Please enjoy a song prepared by the Junior Years Learning Community, celebrating the life of Mary.

We pray for all our school community who may be at home unwell.

We continue to pray for peace in our world and those who may be homeless and cold during the winter months.
