Condolences

On Sunday evening, 11 September, Tom Velten died peacefully in Homesglen Hospital with his loving family at his bedside. Tom was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maree, just short while ago. 

Tom was a refined, gracious  gentleman  and a committed family man. He and Maree were firm advocates of St Bede’s College which their three sons - Michael , Paul and David - attended. From the mid 1970’s until the mid 1990’s, Tom served as our very astute and meticulous Business Manager . 

The highest honour the Brothers can pay to a person for being committed to Gospel and Lasallian ideals is to be made an Affiliated Member, which was conferred on Tom on his retirement .

Our warmest prayers to Helen Dominko on the sudden passing of her beautiful daughter Emily Dominko (aged 28) on the 17 August, 2022. Helen was an LSO here at St Bede's College from 2009 to 2014, with her brothers - Andrew and Craig Dominko - also attending the College.

Our deepest sympathy is extended to Helen and Emily's family and loved ones.
