1990 - 1992 Reunion

On Friday 26 August 2022, St Bede’s College hosted the 30 year reunion for Classes 1990, 1991 and 1992. 

Approximately 50 past students and boarders joined us for food, drink and a tour of the Mentone Campus. Memories were shared about the old pool and living onsite (with many special mentions regarding the food) and the members of Staff that these men were lead by. 

Current staff do not often have the opportunity to hear how significantly the College grounds have changed over such a short period of time. This was one of those opportunities where we were able to laugh and learn about St Bede’s College in the 1990’s. A sincere thank you to all who attended and for the stories that you shared.

St Bede's Old Collegians Military Honour Roll

St Bede’s Old Collegians Association is setting up Honour Boards at the College for those who have served their country in the Army, Navy and Air Force. The period reflected will be from the year St Bede’s College was founded (1938) through until present time, and will continue to be updated well into the future. 

As some would know, there is an existing Honour Board housed in the Mentone Campus Chapel dedicated to those who served in the Second World War. This Honour Board would remain in situ out of respect, and a new one created.

PLEASE HELP US FIND THE SBOC’S WHO SERVED IN KOREA, MALAYA, BORNEO, VIETNAM, GULF WAR, TIMOR, AFGHANISTAN, IRAQ, WAR ON ISIL AND OTHER THEATRES OF ENGAGMENT. 

We would also like the details of those who served full time in the Australian Forces, but did not travel overseas. If you know of a St Bede’s Old Collegian who falls into this category please pass this message on to them.

A strong Old Collegians Association ensures the traditions of the College are continued and held safe.

2.       Initials

3.       Surname

4.       Rank

5.       Corps or Specialty

6.       Area of Service (eg. Korea, Vietnam, Iraq etc)
