Library 

Term 3 has been an incredibly busy and successful one with the heart of the school abuzz with activity. The Years 7 to 9 reading program has been embraced with enthusiasm and excitement by both students and staff. The program allows teacher-librarians to accurately locate the student’s current literacy knowledge and provides skills for ongoing support.

The Mentone Campus Library hosted the 'Match Master' competition, where students were required to match photographs of their teachers to the teachers' all-time favourite book. It was a fun way to spark the students curiosity and put their knowledge of teachers to the test. 

St Bede’s teachers and Library staff put a tremendous amount of effort into understanding our students interests to help provide them with quality learning opportunities. This competition gave the students an opportunity to do the same, and get to know their teachers and librarian’s interests.
