Year 3/4 Hoop Time

On Thursday, Year 3/4 students went to HILAC for Hoop Time. The Cavendish Crusaders (Emma, Thomas, Jaxson, Eli and Mietta) and the Cavendish Caterpillars (Ava, Pippa, Indi, Sam, Cooper, Gwyn) played so well and had a great day. A big thank you to Marion Huf and Simon Thomas for donating their time to score different games. Here were our favourite parts of the day:

Thomas: My favourite part of the day was shooting nine goals and playing basketball because it was so fun. I had fun playing basketball because we shared a lot and didn't just keep it to ourself.

Cooper: My favourite part of the day was shooting three goals and having lots of fun. Basketball was really fun and it was a bit hard for me but our team was quite good and I had lots and lots of fun.

Jaxson: My favourite part of the day was playing basketball because it was really fun and I want to go back.

Indi: My favourite part of the day was playing basketball and giving it a go.

Eli: My favourite part of the day was encouraging everyone and shooting goals. We had lots of fun playing games and versing other people.

Ava: My favourite part of the day was passing to my friends and having fun. We won 3 games out of 4 and the first half of the last game a ball accidentally hit me in the chin.

Gwyn: My favourite part of the day was nearly shooting two goals and I thought my team did really well.

Mietta: My favourite part of the day was playing the games and shooting three goals.

Pippa: My favourite part of the day was sharing the ball around and cheering my team mates on.

Sam: My favourite part of the day was getting 10 goals and dribbling down the end and passed it to everyone.

Emma: My favourite part of the day was getting 8 goals and dribbling down the whole court, passing it to every single person and also watching the other Cavendish team win.
