Year 5/6

Another great week of learning in the 5/6 classroom. Students continue to look at historical events or significant people and how information about these events and people are recorded.

We learnt about the Stolen Generation, Emily Kame and Geoffery Gurrumul (significant First Nations people). Interestingly Gurrumul is a musician and we have been listening to his amazing work each morning as we do our Wellbeing Journals.

On Thursday we meet some other schools nice an early in Hamilton to head to BioLab in Geelong. It was a huge day but all students enjoyed learning about heart rate, reaction times and our bodies. Students conducted experiments and analysed data before discussing how you could improve data.
