Art Workshop
"Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist"
Pablo Picasso
When studying the history of art, the marks an artist makes can reflect a melting pot of artistic influences. Year 12 Visual Arts students' Body of Work exemplifies this perfectly.
During the July school break, Year 12 students participated in an intensive holiday workshop where they have been working furiously resolving and refining their Body of Work. Through their art making experiences, students have the opportunity to create artworks in a wide range of media including two, three and four-dimensional forms. They utilise the expressive properties of these forms in the creation of artworks that give visual form to their ideas about their world.
This ‘Body of Work’ represents 50% of their HSC mark.
